Adrienne McGuire is an accomplished dance educator , choreographer , adjudicator , and arts advocate with more than 30 years of experience in dance education and performance. A licensed K–12 Dance Educator , she specializes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Modern dance and is known for building high-quality, student-centered dance programs.
Adrienne earned her BFA in Dance from Stephens College and spent nearly two decades as Ballet Director at a prominent Raleigh studio, where she also directed a competitive dance company of nearly 200 performers for more than 10 years. Adrienne recently completed her third season judging for a national dance competition and currently teaches dance within the Wake County Public School System as a licensed K-12 Dance Educator , while pursuing her Master of Arts in Dance Education at University of North Carolina at Greensboro, with an anticipated graduation date of 2027.
Her former students have performed alongside artists such as T aylor Swift and Ariana Grande, toured with Ballet BC, appeared on Broadway and in film, and include an Academy Award-winning performer from West Side Story. Others now teach on the national dance convention circuit, have become licensed dance educators themselves, and have attended prestigious programs including USC Kaufman School of Dance, New York University, and Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
